CCMEP provides individualized services to job seekers and students ages 14-24 through personalized assessments, goal setting, and service delivery.Participants have access to job search assistance, paid work experience, credential training, financial literacy training, entrepreneurship development, and other wrap around supports based on their goals, skills, and interests.

The Refugee Services Collaborative (RSC) grew out of years of dialogue among the many refugee service agencies. Formed in 2011, the RSC launched a full calendar of joint activities in January 2013 as a result of a generous Cleveland Foundation grant. This grant enabled the collaborative to deepen and broaden its work together with monthly hands-on meetings, professional development, collection and sharing of benchmark data, and commissioning of an economic impact study.

The Work-Based Learning Institute is an out of- school professional learning experience facilitated by business and education experts for middle and high school educators of any discipline. During fall in-person and virtual site visits, business leaders will share content knowledge and skills necessary for entry level employment. During spring, participants will consider how to integrate and apply what is learned in their classrooms to best prepare students for the workforce of today and tomorrow. Participants are given a research project in chemistry and are supervised by a Case Western Reserve University scientist-mentor. Students will receive a fellowship award of $4,000 for 8 weeks of full-time work (~35 hours/week). The summer 2023 program is expected to start on June 5 and end on July 28.
