BucCareer Network: where the career center posts internship position from local, national and international organizations. This is also where businesses post and update internship positions and their status on a daily basis.
Career Planning Seminar: courses are designed to help students create a professional profile, develop effective career planning skills, learn business etiquette & networking skills, salary negotiation and effective job search skills
Experiential Learning Initiative (ELI) helps students develop professional skills and have higher job placement chances via internships, practicums, clinicals, field courses, travel courses and other real-world application of classroom theory to students. Every student is required to earn ELI credits during their time at Charleston by participating in the above activities, with the help and guide from CSU Career Services.

Every freshman is automatically considered for merit-based scholarship depending on GPA and SAT/ACT score. Scholarships can change based on financial need and can be renewed every year
Additional scholarships are also available in different majors and programs, ranging from $1,000 – $4,000 per year

Tight-knit community on-campus: CSU’s small and personal campus means you will have huge opportunities to be involved and make friends through 50+ student organizations and 200+ campus events each year. More than 40% of students live on campus. Religion and sports are considered a big part of the community. The campus is also very diverse with students coming from 41 states and 24 countries.

Intensive English Program
Charleston Southern University is planning to launch the Intensive English Program to students who want to improve their English language fluency. The full-time courses are available for 1-3 semesters in preparation for CSU degree programs.
