Career Launch Program: during their college experience, students will work directly with a Career Coach to build professional skills and experiences through 3 levels of the programs. After 3 levels, students will gain outstanding professional experience along with a career-ready resume and Linkedin profile to apply for jobs.
Career Planning and Networking Seminars: SMCVT is in collaboration with the Alumni Center to put on a series of seminars for current students. Each seminar is an opportunity for students to gain valuable insights from experienced alumni with topics of job search, interviewing, networking, self-marketing, transferable skills, etc. The seminar is also a chance to network and make connections in their career field and beyond.
SMC Connect: is an online networking and mentoring tool just for the SMCVT community. It brings alumni, students, staff and faculty together to mentor and network with one another for career advice. This platform is also helpful for students to find internships and job shadowing opportunities.
Career Events and Professional Development Series: Year-round opportunities for students to meet with alumni and potential employers through panels, fairs, and speaker events to learn more about the professional workplace. Workshops are also available to help students build a Resume, LinkedIn, interviewing skills and professional etiquette.

All students are considered for Merit-based financial aids up to 60% tuition.
Pontigny Scholarship: $28,000 per year.
Founders Scholarship: $26,000 per year.
Saint Michael’s Scholarship: $22,000 per year.

International Student Scholarship:are valued between $2,000 and up to covering 60% of tuition cost per year.

Intensive English Program
Since 1954, more than 20,000 students from 120 countries have studied English at SMCVT. The school offers students two English language programs: Intensive English Program and Academic English Program.
Intensive English Program (IEP) aims to help students improve their English skills in a short-term (8-16 weeks) language training or planning to study undergraduate and graduate level after the program. No TOEFL/IELTS score is required for admission.
Academic English Program (AEP) is part of the Pathway program that looks to put students in a pathway to continued education while enhancing their English skills. AEP students can take both academic courses and English courses in each AEP level. After two levels, students will have enough credit to be considered a sophomore at SMCVT. Scholarships are available.
