Intensive English Program
The English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) is the largest college-credit ESL program in the state of Ohio.
All ESL courses beginning with the Basic level are prerequisites for subsequent levels (1-3) of ESL which ultimately lead to English 1010. The level at which a student begins ESL course work varies depending on the results of placement testing.
ESL courses at Tri-C are less expensive than at Ohio’s 4-year institution. Cost per ESL credit is the same as other Tri-C credits.
